Taylor Lee Nagel is an independent narrative and documentary film director and producer drawn to urgent and provocative stories of human dignity, defiance, and struggle. She directs and produces projects on a range of vital topics and has a strong intuition for relevant American stories – from immigration and the new American dream to the power of personal storytelling and our collective need for self-expression.
She has a B.A. in Political Science from Barnard College. Taylor is currently the Living Civil Rights Law Documentary Film Fellow at Yale Law School.
Her films have been screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, Bentonville Film Festival, Berkshires International Film Festival, Inside Out Toronto, and others.
